The question still begs, why does historic preservation always come down to a last minute crisis in Humboldt County? It's great the Harbor District came to the rescue, but why not two months ago, six months ago, a year ago? Supposedly they have been closely with the Timber Heritage Association who knew they were going to have to vacate this site a decade ago. I hope everyone comes to more reasonable written agreements as the new year unfolds because these folks don't have a lot of money. Thank God for small miracles!!
