SP Cahill St. Station, April 1985

It was early April of 1985 as CDTX #907 rolled into San Jose with the three SP gallery cars which had been painted in what some had hoped would be the new CalTrain colors. Jerry Brown's secretary of transportation during his first stint in office, Adrianna Gianturco had come up with those colors.

The new cars had not yet arrived so the new F40 was pulling the old SP equipment. In the background, the skyline had not yet been polluted by the soon to be built Ice Palace and the trees along the parking lot had yet to yield to bus loading zones.
