That was a great albeit brief time in Bay Area Rainfanning. Only in the spring & summer of 1985 did Espee Commute equipment co - exist with the new Caltrain stuff. I was fortunate to visit San Jose after Winterail 1985; bagged a shot or two of Niles Tower also.
Also, the Caltrain F - 40's were supposedly the last new engines factory equipped with the " full " Espee front light package including a real Gyralight.
