I did not post, nor write the article from the Le Grande Observer / Baker City Herald; nor did I conduct an investigation concerning the debt(s) of the Yreka Western RR. It's none of my business. I don't understand why you would accuse me of not having facts!

I have been listening to rumors about what's going on with the YW for about a decade. It's all blow and no-go as far as I'm concerned.

As for the rumor of a new owner, and 90# re-lay of rail ... I'll believe it when I see it. I'd have to ask myself why anyone would do that when there's no freight!

For now, it's just another BS rumor. But if it's true, I would suspect there is a connection with the new owner to the Sierra Nevada & Pacific, thereby meaning the YW would technically remain under the control and management of the current owner(s).

You couldn't ever find a better drama! The suspense is killing me! ;o)
