Holy flashback. I haven't heard the name Naugles or even thought about it since I left Orange County in the mid-80s. It was regular Friday night fun for us kids from El Toro High School to hit the Naugles on the north side of town, or the one down in Mission Viejo. As for eats around Colton, the only thing I remember stopping into back then was a donut shop, just northwest of the diamonds as I recall, where the maple bars were huge. Tasty too, as long as you didn't pay much mind to the occasional cockroach that you'd spot scurrying around on the lower shelves.
