A tale about an Emperor who has been duped by his tailors into showing off a new suit of cloths in public that is invisible to all who are stupid, ignorant, or otherwise unfit. Even though the new suit is invisible even to himself, he parades around publicly showing it off.

But even after he discovers himself to actually be naked, not wanting to accept his own stupidity, or show it publicly; he pretends not, and continues to show off his new suit of clothes. All the while his loyal subjects willingly go along with this charade. That is - until an innocent child, the only honest one around, shouts out "But the Emperor has no clothes!"
