John,

It's just a short-term lease until MH 89 is operational which could be at any time. I imagine it will be hard for the SC&MB crew to give up the GP38-2 and move over to the GP9 which has seen better days. Two other locomotives will be brought in for the holiday train and the Rail Corridor Acquisition Celebration.
