Now come those pesky facts...

I already stated multiple times why I think this Santa Cruz short-line is DOA. Stop being lazy and go back and read my posts concerning this topic. NWP has five customers, not three (H&B, Dairyman's, Petaluma Poultry, Standard Structures and SMART), all of which have received cars in the last two weeks at least. The paint on the 2009 or even the 1922, as horrid as it is, is no where near as bad as that damn Mt. Hood GP9 or those "wannabe" F7s. Good luck finding more than a handful of people who agree with you on this.

The so-called lumber customers on the Santa Cruz branch (Pro-Build and Big Creek Lumber) haven't received any cars since earlier this year or longer, with it being stated BY THEM, UP and SCBT that they won't be accepting anymore rail cars, indefinitely. They have three produce customers, turning out at best a dozen or two cars per week (that's generous) over two miles of track within yard limits in Pajaro. NWP runs trains up to 38 cars in length at speeds up to 25 mph, with multiple units and a caboose over 63 miles of track more frequently than the current Santa Cruz short-line changes owners or loses traffic and customers.

Another thing that is DOA is the un-original and played out "NWP used taxpayer money to fix the line." The taxpayer money NWP received was already promised and allocated for, FEMA and state money for emergency repairs form storms a decade ago. The county of Santa Cruz purchased the Santa Cruz branch for $14.2 million, with NO CUSTOMERS after the second milepost and a half assed plan to run some Holiday trains in an area already well served by SCBT for the last 30 years.

As for your attempt to claim I lack the resources to shoot the current NWP, I shoot it/have shot it more than most people, along with the Santa Cruz branch (albeit not recently for the SC branch).

So now that your bullshit has been handed back and explained to you, I guess it's time to work on that hypocrisy and ignorance you're apparently rife with.
