Rare Glimpse of Tillamook Branch track damage

Tonight's edition of Oregon Field Guide on PBS included an interesting story on some guy who has been hiking part of the abandoned Tillamook Branch through the Salmonberry River Canyon:[www.opb.org]

Includes a look at the heavily-overgrown track, some tunnels, even some POTB trains in action back in the day. But most remarkable were the shots showing the stretch of track that was washed out and left dangling and twisted back in 2007. First time I've seen such revealing images of the damage done to this very remote piece of railroad.
