Well, maybe sooner than we're ready for, someone will create a computer-generated trip kit. Customizable. Cars, locos, backgrounds, inside and out, close or far, ground level or from overhead, all based-on-real or totally imaginary. What equipment combination would you want where?

How about a cab-forward pulling CZ cars and a Hiawatha windows-everywhere obs car from Sausalito to Eureka to Lassen Park?
