1) there is no rear gate on the rear platform of the Bidwell and never has been.

2) with very few exceptions, interurban rrs didn't allow passengers to move from car to car, and neither the NE, OA&E, SF-S, nor SN was one of these exceptions.

3) it would be a slow trip with one motor and three trailers, even on flat track (NE Niles cars didn't have a lot of horsepower compared to the South End cars).

4) the 105's brake system is designed for a maximum practical train length of 3 cars.

5) I've seen movies taken on the Bay Bridge from the back platform of the Bidwell.

6) don't let reality rain on your parade.
