AF,
The freight business is their bread and butter and I am looking forward to the biofuel plant beginning operation in late January to early February. It is unlikely Cemex will reopen the plant and I seriously doubt they will sell the plant to a competitor. Resumption of rail service for the Granite Rock sand plant is an unknown at this time. I know for a fact that ProBuild wants to resume rail shipments, but that can’t happen until the bridges are repaired which could take 6 months to one year to complete.
Regarding MH 89, every attempt was made to have it painted along with SC 1101 and SC 1102, but time and other circumstances did not permit the repainting to happen before the paint crew from Alamosa had to leave..
