Last time I saw the 4449 in Spokane, the crew spent the better part of the night doing repairs to the mars light. I believe at the time it had the twin bulb version. Maybe the thing just became too big of a pain in the ass. It would have to be kept operable to comply with FRA rules----it could have become too much of a liability to keep going. Anyone know for certain??
