All the GS-4s and -5s were delivered from Lima, and ran for some time on the SP, with the single bulb Mars light in addition to the regular single bulb headlight.
The 4449's Mars light's single bulb configuration was applied in early 2009 as part of the effort to return the engine to its "as-delivered" appearance, after utalizing the dual-bulb configuration later in her career on the SP as well as in special service from the Freedom Train through 2008.
