And just to add to the state of confusion, I received an email a little while ago about UP issuing recall letters today to many of the furloughed trainmen in the Roseville Service Unit. Not the result of a sudden increase in business, but more likely in anticipation of conductor decertification that starts "for real" on February 1st, or a reaction to a noticed filed by the BLET to reinstate Engineer Reserve Boards at locations where there are furloughed trainmen.
