You should be ashamed of yourself for editing my comment and completely changing the meaning. Your previous post was specific to the Big Boy 4014 and my reply was specific to that locomotive.

But through unethical editing of my response, you altered to the meaning of my comment as if to generalize Trains' coverage of the UP and NS steam programs.

If your real beef is that Trains Magazine doesn't sufficiently cover UP's steam program, that's a completely different issue which you could have introduced in a different way.

Whatever, pal. I don't have the time or energy to go through 30 - 40 years of Trains magazines to determine the legitimacy of your beef. Based on my memory alone, I recall Trains Magazine providing appropriate levels of coverage of steam operating on BNSF, CP, NS and UP. However, my 55-year old memory is getting rusty, so maybe you're right, maybe I'm right.

I feel that Trains has not provided enough coverage of Soo 2719, SP 2472 and SP & S 700, but hey that's just my partisan view and I'm not about to label the good folks at Kalmbach the "Milwaukee Mafia" for their lack of coverage of three of my favorite steam locomotives.
