Lessee -- Some of my favorite Trains issues are :
Cajon Pass by Steimheimer, sometime in 1974 ?
Tehachapi !!! A Steimheimer Spectacular, in 1977.
California in the Winter, mid - 1970's
The Hill by Steimheimer
Nevada by Ted Benson THE WHOLE ISSUE
I can also recall many articles on such Western subjects as The Rio Grande Zephyr and The Front Range, Utah Railway, The Skunk and McCloud River RR's, Feather River Cyn. Not bad for an " EASTERN " magazine. Oh BTW, the magazines for the most part only print the stories that are sent in to them !!! Yea, the editors will go places and report on Choo - Choo stuff, but they'll tell you they'd much rather edit HUGE volumes of stories that WE RAILFANS SEND IN !!!
