I took this trip on 713 last week for the first time through Franklin Canyon since about 1969. It's really enjoyable rare milage, including the 10 mph on the Richmond Pacific. One can only go one way because 713 and 716 meet west of Antioch because of the time it takes on the Richmond Pacific.
