Lessee now -- A twisting, low speed route with lotsa WOODEN trestles and WOOD - LINED tunnels, none of which has seen ANY maintenance through Carrizo Gorge in 20 years. One trestle has burned through, with rumors of several more burned or damaged. Oh yea, the line crosses an International Border TWICE, and has questionable ownership in both countries. Carrizo Gorge is almost totally inaccessable except on the rails themselves, crossing over the burnt trestles and through 100 old wooden tunnels. Also, Toyota's DEEP POCKETS were just emptied a little, per a news story today describing a $16 MILLION dollar settlement by Toyota in the unintended acceleration issues. I'll stick to my prediction.
