The BNSF has given Caltrans a wish list of projects(to be funded from the Goods Movement bonds and RR$$) totalling $80 million to daylight some tunnels and doubletrack some sections of the Tehachapi line. One of the projects was to doubletrack from Bena to Caliente, which UP is doing right now.
