Very interesting stuff, thanks. I was surprised to see the
notice to the "C&E" 6465 (F unit?) East in reference to a Toledo
branch train. I guess I should know by now that old habits die
hard on the railroad. The Oregon Freeze Dry car orders are inter-
-esting to me also as I worked there for several years. These appear
to be orders for cars to be loaded which I never saw while I was
there. I do remember overhearing a supervisor talking about how
a reefer load of military fruit blocks showed up a month early and
fouled up the production schedule. Unfortunately the OFD spur was
taken out shortly after the UP took over.
