GeoB, I used to work at National Frozen Foods, right across the spur from OFD, there in Albany, from 1997 to 2006. When the spur was still in place and active, it was not unusual to see the headlight coming at you, at any time, unannounced of course. Our fork lift traffic ran right over the ends of the ties on our side. Yes, it's all gone now, and National has fenced in all the property, starting after 9-11. I still remember the engine seemingly backing into the Bean Room while we were working in there. Very close clearances, for sure.
