I would imagine a lot of the railroads have probably
hired summer help by now. Being it's a seasonal position
if might be worth your effort to launch a quickie
e-mail campaign to any human relations person you
can find at the railroads. Then find out who the
superintendents are closest to you and bother them
in a polite way.

I would suspect they are hungry for responsible applicants.
Since you've hit the big dogs already now it's time to focus on the
regionals and short lines. Does Railway Age list jobs online.
How about your local state employment office. Be ready to move at
moments notice. If you come up short then it's time to
