I heard, strictly as unconfirmed rumor, that the Port of Tacoma was going to acquire the line from BNSF from Snohomish and that the SOW train would then move north, rarther than start operations sooner with a BNSF contract. Deal is supposedly in the phase of determining the line value with tracks staying intact. (Is there a trail angle here too???). There are no plans to operate SOW in Vancouver onto the Battle Ground line. F's & cars are stored are previously mentioned. I would think that the Portland area would support a train out of Vancouver.
