I thought friction bearings were a no-no anyplace on the US RR system these days? So how could FRA be OK with them on this car? And even if you can use them on your shortline, I don't think a major RR would haul it in a train to your new home for it - probably a low-boy truck across country. The chain drive probably doesn't help any with that (check out the rust in the pics).
Since it was built in the early 1900s, unless it's been seriously strengthened I don't see FRA OK'g it for use on a line where other trains exist. Perhaps for limited service on a line where speeds are low and the probability of fetching up against something else big is small.
The ad didn't mention glass. FRA glazing? Almost certainly not or they would have said so.
Using that thing on a real railroad (even a short line) would need a large stack of FRA exceptions. I don't believe the part about approved by FRA unless they can provide the paperwork showing that for last user. Nice dishes and decorating, though.
