Brazil will probably grab the Dash 8s if they are the right price. They have gotten real good at changing them to 63" or meter. The B40s might end up as meter B+B-B+B.

The B40 would be one of the worst locos for a most shortlines. Even if they had GEs, most would find them too slippery and could never use that much horsepower.
