Just like you, a dude trying to make a living. Easy to quit, hard to survive. The days when a man/woman could make a decent living in the US are long gone, especially if you over 40.
You wanna keep your house, you wanna feed your family, pay the mortgage, save for retirement, you do what you gotta do.
Back in the old days, pre-automation, a disabled RR employee could at least find steady work as a crossing guard.
Can't do that now.
