I haven't got word on the post derailment condition of the the cars, maybe someone else can help there. Hopefully they arn't in to bad of shape.

My understanding is the cars were to be used on INPR's Thunder Mountain Line specifically out of Cascade, Id. The plan I heard was to use them on the Cascade to Smiths Ferry portion of the Idaho Northern branch. They also were planed to be used on river rafter shuttle trains between Smiths Ferry and about MP 90, where the river raft unloading ramp and platform are.
