Greetings -
Since the tunnel was buily before the park, I was posing a question was it to service some earlier industry?, or was "perhaps" a wye there? as a question or possible reason. Based on the information shared, it appears the industrial park was envisioned in 1951 and the tunnel put in when Bayshore BLVD was upgraded.

My father had worked for a company in the park which moved there about 1964 was their first location was taken over when I380 was built. (Rover Cars / British Leyland). I recall seeing SP switch in park in the 1970s with SWs but was too young to have a camera then.

Still hoping a picture turns up one day.
