So, I get the impression that, due to deteriorated track and bridges, nothing can presently operate west of the La Selva bridge? If so, is there a time frame as to when equipment, either revenue and occupied or unoccupied "positioning moves", will once again be able to move from Watsonville to Santa Cruz?
Eventually, I'd like to ride a "tour of the line" special excursion train, especially on the portion from Santa Cruz to Davenport. Would this be a realistic dream or is it pie-in-the-sky fantasy?
