It is senseless to remove the sand dune at Bonney Doon and keep it clear until the line from MP 20.5 to MP 31.39 is put back in service. When UP took the line back from Sierra Northern in 2012 they allowed the sand dune to grow to its present size. UP did not do any brush removal along the line in 2012 either.
Regarding a dinner train, one with pairings from local wineries is already planned for when the RTC completes the rehabilitation of the bridges.
