The tracks did, and I believe still do, run into the blimp hanger at Tillamook.
The dryer climate at the onetime Madras Army Air Field should be a plus to the planes. A downside is the occasional wind problems the military had from the nearby Deschutes canyon, museum flights would have to be planned around this.
