Spokane Street "interlocking" / carfloat dock

This was - still is walking / jogging speed country. Let's presume that this was gates with stop signs, and daisy-chained padlocks. There were other crossings in the tideflats with no "protection".

I believe there is evidence of the Milwaukee carfloat dock access across the Alaskan Way South pavement. This carfloat property fouled North-South access along the waterfront; therefor it had to go, after the lawyers settled ownership - many years.
