The original geared driveline was discarded in favor of a Sauer-Sundstrand hydrostatic transmission and the power level of that unit is about 150 hp maximum (intermittant). The car is
very heavy and while the drive is satisfactory on reasonably level and short grades it would have
problems on the V&T.
