Didn't this result in SP employees later having to get qualified on this particular spur?

Vaguely remember shooting an SD-7 on it in late '69, but my better memories are of the steam, P-7 Pacifics 2476 and 2477 and especially MK-6 3251 on the afternoon freight. Rode her once from the water tank at Simla up to the plant and back. After steam was gone in late '56, they used Baldwin roadswitchers for awhile. Used to tie up the train and go to beans at the Rancho Cookhouse about a mile east of Loyola.
