Was that equipped with a 318? Quite possibly the most cold blooded V-8 I have ever driven. Don't try to go ANYWHERE till the choke gets done with its job. The engine, after that was indestructible . I drove a cab for awhile ion Sacramento. My cab was a 1970 Plymouth Belvedere with a 318. It had been a California State Police car prior to being painted yellow and having regroovable tires affixed. I figure that by the time I drove it the thing had about 400k miles on it. One night , The car started running rough and I managed ti sputter back to the yard about 18 miles away. the mechanics replaced the distributor and I had the car in 6 hours( The distributor shaft had broken and dropped 1/2 inch so the points were barely closing. That was all that was wrong.
