I rode the Southwest Limited in the summer of 1975 on a Chicago-LA roundtrip. We had both a Hi-Level Diner and Hi-Level Lounge with a diner and Pleasure Dome lounge for the sleepers. Although I was traveling coach I went back to the first class dome quite a bit until the conductor that got on in La Junta kicked me out and sent me back to the coaches. Apparently he was the last old Santa Fe conductor that enforced the separation of coach and sleeper passengers. :-)
