As I recall from my California truck driving days, the Richmond - San Rafael bridge is rather low to the water for much of its' length. Wouldn't be surprised to hear that CHP / Caltrans closed it due to high winds & water over the deck. Am most interested in updates on rail activity over Donner Pass...
