The sky is much better now than it was back then.

My younger brother and I took the RTD 5 Line to Union Station and saw one of the last SP trains pilled by a SDP45 depart. We walked around downtown and ended up at SP 8th St Yard before having to leave. What was memorable on that hot day was the burning in our lungs and eyes that we experienced. Reminded me of gas mask training which requires removing your mask in a room full of CS.
