How will they pay for it you ask?
Easy - Since all these new promises always result in things getting worse; and just plain thin air and moonbeams - nothing of any real substance; how to pay for it is equally obvious.
They will just Pay for it with billions of tons of just plain thin air, and and an equal number of moonbeams.
Brown's beloved Emperor in Washington and the stooges in the federal reserve board will see to it. They have lots of ink and lots of paper, not to mention the most exquisite of all printing presses. But hell, they don't even need that. Just buy back national debt instruments by merely crediting the bank selling 'em back. No debiting a source account - just credit the bank, and voila - debt gone, and new funny money in the banks hand. Been going on since about 2008- early 2009. And its no secret either. Just take the time to read the wall street or other financial pages - its there - frequently in the fine print.
Too bad these so-called college trained ninnies can't even remember recent history. Less than 90 years ago, Germany, Austria, and Italy tried that very same thing during the great depression; causing their currency to fluff away into thin air and dimly shining moonbeams; and causing the peoples of that region an absolute desperation; and that led to a deep desperate vulnerability to any despot that might come along. And along he came! Elected as their savior! But instead of being a savior; 20 million plus died by genocide and a war that consumed the whole Earth.
But no - our leaders blithely follow the same path; insanely believing in a different result. But thin air and dim moonbeams will be the result just the same! If not worse!
Seeing this in recent history, the part of me that wants to stick my head in the sand keeps singing, "there but for the grace of God go I". But for those that even still claim belief in such a being, what makes any of us think he will not turn his back after we turned ours.
And for those who don't believe? Do you really expect a human savior to save us from our folly? But that's what those desperate Europeans did, and where did it get them!
Well either way - we're done!
