Well, let's see now, cart-horse? Or is it horse-cart? Hjalmar Horace Greeley Schacht was one of the founders of the NSDAP. In 1934, Hitler appointed him as Minister of Economics after which he introduced his "new plan" for Germany's economic recovery, which was one of the main things which got the economy functioning (and the mark stabilized). He later joined the resistance against the Nazis.
