Fantastic film.
That train did keep getting shorter and shorter, however.
Now, it makes more sense on why they often waited for the train or engine to be directly over the blast, often using a lot more explosive.
Don't forget that "Papa Bull died for the train" burning out a side rod bearing using a small coin and did more effective "economic" damage to the engine.....speaking of lubrication....?
The MI-6/SOE and OSS hired insurance investigators, and smuggled railroad officials out of France, and did numerous studies in WWII, like this one, to determine the best ways to commit various forms of industrial sabotage, but I've never seen anything like this on film.
