SD-9 Scrapped Years Ago

Excerpt from the Ebay listing:

This is a control stand with controller (throttle and reverser) from a Southern Pacific GM EMD (General Motors Electro-Motive Division) SD-9 diesel locomotive. This is the real thing - big, dirty, and very heavy. It was bought from a scrapper back in the early 1980s when the locomotive was being cut up for scrap, though I don't know the number of the SD-9 it was removed from. The gentleman I bought this from was the S.P. engineer (retired) who actually bought this from the scrapper (along with the headlights, gyralites, and red Mars light which may get listed separately).
