I tend to agree with SP 5103...I have been inside and run many SP SD-9's and all of them had the equipment referred to in 5103's post.
Unless an SD-9 had been wrecked and the cab extensively rebuilt with the newer "roller switch" control stand as we call them, I still don't think they would have gone to the trouble of upgrading the air to 26.
Just a personal opinion for what its worth as I've done both control stand and air conversions and can testify that it's a LOT of work and to be avoided unless absolutely necessary!
