I rode across it as a young teenage railfan about 5 or 6 times in the early 1960s courtesy of a friend of mine who was a SP conductor. It was the old TBX that departed Bayshore around 3:00 am. It could get pretty cold going across the bridge on a foggy morning. Oh how I wish I could do that again.
