Reading the posts doesn't rebuild the railroad. I have been "close" to this situation since the late nineties. Money from one place or another is promised (only to pay the NCRA, cause no one else is getting it), interested operating parties are named, Pechner (no disrespect, Mike) updates us about the NCRA board, and people think... "Somethings happening!" Meanwhile the only thing moving is the subgrade out from under the tracks, or possible the weeds growing. I think this RR is important, don't get me wrong, but it's not happening. I agree with the 50 year hiatus from this topic as stated later on.
