The Central Station was still standing at least through the mid 50’s well after the construction of LAUPT. What I recall best is the large “O” gauge model railroad that took up most of the 2nd floor on the south end of the building. I know the model railroad existed during the early 50’s, but I don't know how long before or after that period. Does anyone else remember the model railroad?
