That sentence made me find more about how the station should operate, and with all due respect, I am apalled.
There is a station, showing great openness to all sides, and what are they doing?? Funnelling all passengers, no matter which service, through a pedestrian bridge giving access to the platforms. And the best thing is that they have STAIRS, but no escalators (something every modern train station has when it comes to pass height differences of more than 1.5 meters). Ah, yeah, in order to comply to ADA, there are some alibi elevators. Now someone tell me how to deal with a trainload of passengers with such a set up…
"shooting in your own foot" is about what comes to my mind here…
A great station… to look at. To use??
I guess there will be some voices from Denver giving a first hand report.
