They went to MKT and they had the cabs lowered but still retain the weird fuel tanks. UP got them in the merger and they are currently numbered 1200-1208 and have spent most of their life on the UP in the Northwest and Idaho Montana. Interestingly, the other GP39-2's UP got from MKT are oddballs too, they were built in GP49 carbodies, with the larger GP50 sized radiator screens.
