About ten years back Mr. Speaker got a citation for trespassing from CSX on the east coast. Seems they had him and his vehicle on video in an intermodal facility. and mailed the citation to the registered owner of the pickup. Then there is the story about Canadian Customs Officers at Windsor, ONT, sending Mr. Speaker back to American Authorities in Detroit. He was held overnight. then in the morning shown maps on how to proceed back into the lower 48 states, and instructed not to come back to the border. He of course just went to other border crossings...

Mr. Speaker is known to many law enforcement agencies throughout the country. Name just about any major railroads' police, or any municipalities' and Mr. Speaker can tell you about his encounter(s) with them. Since Mr. Speaker does not have any big money, is incorrigible, and a highly manipulative autistic/savant, no agency wants to take him into custody for long, nor be responsible for him while he is in custody. Therefore he normally gets a field interview, some strong words, threats, promises, (which he chooses to ignore), and he continues trespassing on both railroad and private property. He normally comes off as just another nut, law enforcement does not have time to deal with. Fining him does no good, and authorities normally don't want to have to hold onto him to take him into court. His weird answers to questions, and incessant, inande questions make officers just want to send him away. For the most part he is harmless.

He is driven to obtain photos and information, and has little regard for his own safety, nor respect for anyone else, unless he can "use" them. His perception of what is "normal behavior" or "safe" is not the same as most people. Why else does he trespass deep into railroad property, often wearing untied sneakers, wearing earbuds or headphones, looking like a bum. His parents used to allow him to go to places like Donner Pass in the winter, wearing only a windbreaker and sneakers. They are all lacking in common sense. Mr. Speaker is a menace to other safe, serious photographers and himself.
